Welcome to GO and know
This web site will over the next few weeks morph into a travel information site. For those professional pilots that remember Pilotwait.com, this is its reincarnation.
The site will employ a much improved interface, a back end database to store the entries, and better links to maps. It will also, unlike the Pilotwait Site, be advertising supported.
HIstory
Back in 1998, I started a site devoted to places to stay, eat, and things to do for professional pilots. It was a great success, but a rather large pain in the butt to maintain. In late 2002, I had a major change in the my corporate pilot life which required that I abandon the old site. I have since become reasonably conversant in many of the Web 2.0 techniques and will be able to provide a much richer experience with a good deal more automation to make it work.
